This was our first stay with Direct Hotels. We travel a lot and honestly can say this was one of the best value for money, spacious and comfortable places we have stayed in over 30 years. The lock up garage with direct access to the unit was above our expectations. The bed was extremely comfortable as was the 2 seater lounge. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. If this unit in Emerald is indicative of all Direct Hotels Accommodation, we will be seeking out more units as our first choice when next we travel.
Really happy with the accomodation! Co operative and communicative hosts. Nicely set out studio/villa with all you need. Quiet with aircon in good order. Location a drawback if you dont have transport otherwise easy access to all parts of town.
This is my go-to accomodation in Emerald. The apartments are spacious, well-equipped, and clean.
I'd give it 5 stars except for little things like nowhere to hang clothes or a hand towel in the bathroom and a dangerous water spout sticking out from the wall over the bath (which is also too small for an adult to soak in) it has a large bathroom but a tiny bath and tiny shower cubicle.The unit is roomy overall and could easily be 5 stars but is let down by attention to detail.The back door won't stay closed. (Maintenance issue)No fly sceen doors.It has "waiting room" lounges.The dining chairs are coming apart.The oven tray had oil and grease on it.The light in the kitchen is too dim. The TV and or the satellite TV is faulty (the sound is choppy).
I stay here for work once a month and I absolutely love it. I get looked after all the time by the wonderful staff there. And the villas are AMAZING. Highly recommend it
