I give this place 0 stars out of five. WORST place we have ever stayed. Meant to book into Central Palms!! What a terrible mistake!! Leaves all over carpet, cobwebs, huge ants and dead cockroaches!! Wires from air con exposed with our sons bed pushed against it. Brown marks that resembled blood or something else over our doona and sons sheets. Iron but no ironing board. Receptionist could not tell us ANYTHING about Emerald. When I complained they didnt seem at all worried or interested. Just changed doona (which had no cover on it and was covered in grass and crushed leaves). Pool was dirty. Was not game eat there. Please do not stay here.
One of our sub-contractors checked into room, the toilet with the 'Hygienically Cleaned Seal' on the lid, opened the lid and it was full of excrement. When he flushed the toilet, it came running out the bottom through a crack in the toilet! Yuck!
This is the worst place Ive ever stayed in. Cobwebs all through the unit. Cockroaches dead over the ground and in the shower. Water dripping from the bathroom ceiling for two days until I left. Nothing had been cleaned at all. Ive stayed in some average places all around Australia, but this was something else. Was meant to stay another week and I had to swap hotels.
Absolute great place to stay, room and bathroom are both very clean and well kept.Food available in their bar/restaurant is cheaper than expected and the food quality is quite good. Dining area is very clean and the staff are very friendly.
The first room we were given had cob webs everywhere, rubbish on the benches and the rubish bins were full. We were then moved to an "immaculate" room (so the manager states). Again cob webs everywhere, smoke alarm off the wall, only 1 blanket for 3 beds, light cover in bathroom broken off and sitting on the bench, 1 bed base broken and edges ripping apart, rubbish on the floor, carpet so dirty that after a shower our kids feet were dirtier than before their shower, puberty hair on the soap dish in the shower, no plates or cutlery (however has a toaster in the room), the room smelt like an ash tray and the air con s were dirty and the filter lights were on.
