I have been taking my Honda CR-V to CLAM for servicing since starting a a job in central QLD a couple of years ago. Chris and the team go out of their way to make the car service convenient. I have been happy with the quality of the servicing and will continue to take my vehicle here.
Brought our Troopy there because our rear wheel was leaking diff oil. They werent really keen on helping us, had a quick look and told us they had to replace the seals of both rear wheels plus some other parts and it would be $1000 plus (they didnt want to give us a proper quote so Im pretty sure it would have been much more in the end). We went with their diagnosis and their quote to two other places and gave them the opportunity to charge us the same - both came to the same conclusion: simply two missing bolts. Price: $200 including labour. I feel like theyre just trying to rip off backpackers and make easy money. We later heard that they are quite well known for this way to handle their business. Stay away!
Unprofessional, unorganised, no courtesy call for days, I will be taking my business elsewhere now. Such a shame as word of mouth promised Clam to be really good. You dont keep customers by not looking after them.
